Kadence's Tiny Baby Sweater

This sweet little sweater is for my soon to be born niece. I can't wait to meet her and see her in this tiny sweater. I think it might fit her for about a week before she grows out of it.

New "old" bike.

Joel and Grace spent the last couple of weeks fixing up my old Huffy bike. It turned out great, and now Grace has a bike that's her size.

Fun in the yard and a new sweater.

Just finished another sweater.

It's warm and cozy...way too warm for summer though.

Faith-n-Boots

Faith looked so cute today in her dress and boots that I had to get a quick shot of her. She is my sweet brown eyed girl! I love her so much!

Future model?

Some More Photo Fun

Day: 3- Semi-homemade breakfast

Today I was feeling uninspired and outright lazy, so I cheated a little and went ahead and shmeared some cream cheese onto a store bought bagel...gasp!...I know. I did however make a tasty cheddar cheese omelet for myself and the girls. (Hope loves eggs and she especially loved her omelet this morning)
Tomorrow morning I have decided to make Swedish Pancakes (aka-Crepes), with freshly made whipped cream and strawberries.

Mmmmm...yummy omelet, look at all that melty Tillamook cheddar cheese.

It's A Chicken Potpie Kinda Night

Homemade chicken potpie is one of my all time favorite comfort foods. This time I even made my own pie dough instead of using store bought. It was very tasty as usual and the kids and the hubby seemed to enjoy it too.

Faith showing off her tasty dinner.

Hope playing in her cup of water. She did eat a bit of her food too.

My Vintage Fire King Mugs

I love these little turquoise mugs. I picked them up for two dollars each at a church rummage sale a few years back. I'm not sure how much they are worth now, but it is fun to have a little piece of American history to display and even use every now and then. It's not often that you get to use mugs that are made in the U.S.A. Just saying.
